Wangaratta Rangers Orange Can’t Catch Up To NASC Bears Green

Wangaratta Rangers Orange fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 31-0 loss to NASC Bears Green on Sunday. NASC Bears Green scored on a double by Greg Daniel and a groundout by Brendon Simmons in the first inning.

The Wangaratta Rangers Orange struggled to contain the high-powered offense of NASC Bears Green, giving up 31 runs. In the first inning, NASC Bears Green got their offense started. NASC Bears Green scored one run when Daniel doubled. A single by Brent Miller in the fifth inning was a positive for Wangaratta Rangers Orange.

Simmons led the NASC Bears Green to victory on the pitcher’s mound. They surrendered zero runs on zero hits over three innings, striking out six and walking zero. Daryl Tuffey threw three innings in relief out of the bullpen. Jason Jonker took the loss for Wangaratta Rangers Orange. They allowed 15 hits and 17 runs over three innings, striking out two. MillerKelsey Burder, and Brad Murdoch all had one hit to lead Wangaratta Rangers Orange.

Wangaratta Rangers Black Takes Victory Over NASC Bears Gold

Wangaratta Rangers Black defeated NASC Bears Gold 7-4 on Sunday. Wangaratta Rangers Black got on the board in the first inning. Steven Peruzzo singled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run. Aaron Parker earned the victory on the mound for Wangaratta Rangers Black. They allowed seven hits and four runs over seven innings, striking out nine. Btandon took the loss for NASC Bears Gold. They lasted two and a third innings, allowing six hits and five runs while striking out one.

Wangaratta Rangers Black saw the ball well today, racking up 11 hits in the game. Nathan Pool and Peruzzo each racked up multiple hits for Wangaratta Rangers BlackPeruzzo and Pool each collected three hits to lead Wangaratta Rangers BlackWangaratta Rangers Black tore up the base paths, as three players stole at least two bases. Parker led the way with three.

NASC Bears Gold racked up seven hits on the day. Alex and Btandon each had multiple hits for NASC Bears Gold. Alex led NASC Bears Gold with three hits in four at bats.
